  • WHAT TO BRING TO CLASS

    Bring your game face and a positive attitude. Remember that we all started with that first class and while it can be intimidating to walk through those doors for the first time, know that you will feel proud walking out of them 60 minutes later.

    Besides that, we recommend bringing a mat, water bottle and a small sweat towel, if you have one. If you don’t have a mat- no worries, we have a handful of extras at each studio that you can borrow if needed.

  • SIGNING UP FOR YOUR FIRST CLASS

    You will create a profile on our website. From there you can select the package option that works best for you along with the studio, class and class time of your first class. We recommend downloading the System of Strength app for ease of signing up for classes, having your class schedule upload into your phone calendar, and to quickly make any changes needed. Make note: the System of Strength app is different than the mind body app and is easier to navigate our classes with. We have 2 separate apps, one for online workouts "The Digital Studio" and the other for studio classes.

  • WHICH STUDIO LOCATIONS CAN YOU ATTEND

    Any standard SOS package you purchase will be honored at any of our Columbus locations. SOS in Cincinnati is a separate package from the SOS studios in Columbus (Grandview & Clintonville.) Please reach out to info@systemofstrength.com if you are in both cities frequently and we can offer you a discount option for both Columbus & Cincy.

  • RETURNING A PACKAGE

    All package purchases are final. We will exchange for a different package of equal or greater value ONLY if the package has not been used. We do not freeze packages unless you have a serious injury. We will freeze packages for a maximum of 1 month. All class packages have a 6-12 month expiration date, pending the class package.

  • CANCELLATION POLICY

    Please cancel your class within 12 hours prior to your upcoming class to avoid being charged a late fee.

    A late fee, cancelling the class less than 12 hours prior to the class, will be charged $10. A no show, will be a $15 fee.

    *Level 1+ Snow Emergency : Will not be charged any late fees.

    We have a no exceptions policy to this rule. Please understand that we know things happen: People get sick, tires go flat, dogs eat your running shoes, and happy hours pop up out of nowhere. But in the spirit of being fair and consistent, we need to treat everyone equally, regardless of the specific scenario. Bottom line: If we make an exception for you, then we need to make an exception for everyone else, and that is impossible to manage. Again, we will not reverse late cancel charges so please respect the policy and try to understand our position.

    Here are a few tips to keep you from getting charged a late fee:

    Make it a habit to sign into class when you walk in.
    Download the SOS app and make it a habit to check your schedule daily and make the necessary adjustments.
    Cancel within the 12 hour window
    Be equally as mindful about the classes you are wait listed for. If you are on the wait list and get pushed into the class prior to the late cancel timeframe you are responsible for that class.
    Put yourself on a wait list and forget about it. You need to manage your overall schedule so you do not run the risk of being late charged.

  • BEGINNER LEVEL CLASSES?

    We do not offer beginner or advanced level classes. We meet you where you are in your fitness journey and while every class is designed to be difficult, we understand that not everyone is at the same level of fitness. Our first priority is your safety. All SOS instructors are trained to provide different levels to make each work out accessible for anyone. We strongly advise clients with ANY injury to notify the instructor prior to class so they are able to give appropriate modifications.

  • MINIMUM AGE TO PARTICIPATE

    Our minimum age is 15 to participate in regular studio classes. We will from time to time offer special Kid Classes or Kid/Parent Classes however and during those, the minimum age is 5.

  • MUSIC AND EXPLICIT LYRICS DISCLAIMER

    We try really hard to keep our music clean in the studio. However, with all of the apps and different ways to stream playlists available to our instructors, it becomes increasingly difficult to manage a playlist that is 100% clean. There will be times where explicit language will be played in our studio.

  • CANCELING YOUR DIGITAL STUDIO SUBSCRIPTION

    You may cancel your subscription at any time by emailing digitalstudio@systemofstrength.com. Please note that your subscription must be cancelled one day prior to your membership renewing. There will be no refunds for subscriptions cancelled after the renewal date.

  • WAITLISTS

    You will be notified via email/text (pending how you set up your profile options,) if you are added to a class from the waitlist. You can be added into a class up until the late cancel period (12 hours before class). If you get added to the class and don't realize until after entering the late cancel period, you will be responsible for that class and charged a fee if you do not attend. If you know you are not going to be able to make a class, take yourself off the waitlist ASAP.

    If a client late cancels a class you're waitlisted for, the entire waitlist regardless of rank will be sent out an e-mail to pickup this spot. This will be first come first serve and you will immediately take over their spot number.

  • SMOKING

    We care deeply about creating a space where everyone can work towards being healthier & stronger.
    As part of our commitment to a healthy space, we kindly ask that all clients do not smoke or vape on the premises and refrain from entering the studio if clothing, bags, or personal items carry a strong smell of smoke of any kind.

    Even if someone is not actively smoking, lingering smoke odors—often called thirdhand smoke—can still trigger respiratory issues, migraines, and allergic-like reactions in individuals. Exercise can often cause breathlessness, so it’s important that everyone is able to breathe in air easily.

    Even if you aren’t smoking prior to class, the smoke may be attached to you or your personal items.
    Please make sure you, your workout clothing and accessories are free of all types of smoke, otherwise we will not be able to allow you in class and compromise the others around you.
